Time Flies...

The babies are already nearly grown... I guess they'll be fledging in a couple of days. I had trouble posting the photos from last weekend - finally got them on today...and here's the latest image.

Bringing Up Babies

Well both the Brush Wattlebirds eggs hatched last weekend and ever since it's been 'game on' for Mum & Dad. No time to spare... delivering food and retrieving faecal sacs! Tops marks for nest site selection though - it's been blowing a gale here all week with moments of driving rain - no problem though for these canny birds - the babies are all snug under the roof of our verandah as well as out of the reach of destructive winds!
