Inexperienced Snake Mum

This carpet python laid her eggs on the middle of a walking track in Sea Acres Nature Reserve and appears to have abandoned them the next day, perhaps after getting disturbed by walkers.

Busy Body

Yes, it's me back again. No I haven't disappeared - just been busy. Christmas holidays are always busy at work but some summers are crazy fire fighting ones....just like the 2006/2007 season. This photo is fresh from yesterday at a fire in Crowdy Bay National Park.
